November Newsletter

Happy November,

To say that I am grateful is an understatement. Over the last several months, I have been on a deep spiritual dive and keep coming back to the feeling of gratitude. I am grateful for the discoveries about myself, the painful stuff as well as moving into really embracing the good stuff. I don’t know if we always do that easily. Sure, we might be good at doing things, but how often do we really say we are good people and believe it – fully? We might think, ‘Sure, I’m a pretty nice person but I…’ Those dots are where we fall short of fully believing in ourselves. Does that strike a little ‘Ugh, I do that’ within you? It always did for me and just recently, I was in a meditation when for the first time, I really felt the words I was hearing. “You are fierce.” I felt it as I heard the words and believed it. Wow, that was so powerful! I feel like I stand just a little taller now. I like it!

It hasn’t been an easy journey all the time. To be willing to look at the things that give us pain and discomfort, and begin to heal those areas takes courage, but there is so much freedom and joy on the other side. It is so worth the time and effort. And the changes that have occurred in my life for the better have been wonderful. Some big things, sure, but when I think about all the little things that have improved it becomes a huge thing. Life truly is about the little things.

It goes without saying that I am also grateful to my family and friends. I wouldn’t be growing as much without their support. And with Thanksgiving around the corner, there is no better time to express my gratitude for them. They give me safety and support when I need it, and they provide feedback for me to gauge how I’m growing and where I need to focus my growth and healing. All of life offers us a mirror to show us how we’re doing because it reflects back what we think and feel about everything. Everything. What do you reflect back to yourself? If you don’t like what you see, are you willing to change yourself to see better things? When we change ourselves, our world changes.

The shop also reflects back to me and I am grateful to all of you for showing me what I am putting out. I have to say, I’m pretty darn happy with what I get back. I think I might enjoy all of you more than anything. This business affords me the opportunity to meet so many people who are kind, friendly, honest, and love the same kinds of things I do (especially the snarky folks!). So, thank you. Thank you for being part of my life and reflecting back to me. I’m happy with what I get.

To express my gratitude a little more, for the month of November, if you spend $75 or more in candles you’ll receive either a candle snuffer or wick trimmer at half price. Spend $150 and it’s free! It is candle season and taking care of your candles properly will enhance the joy and extend the life of it.

Happy Thanksgiving

In gratitude,

Sandy
